Artlab Yerevan” art organization organized a seminar-discussion on the theme ''Non-violent Civil Disobedience Movements in Armenia'' at the Gallery of Mariam and Eranuhi Aslamazyan Sisters, Gyumri on May 31 in the frames of the project “Possibility of the Impossible Choice”.
The speaker of the seminar was Manvel Sargsyan, founding member of “Karabagh’’ committee, permanent representative of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in Armenia in 1992, participant of the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group in 1992-1995, specialist of non-violent civil disobedience methods and movements.
The seminar was moderated by art critic Vardan Jaloyan.
The last civil movement in Armenia led to the long-awaited revolution. That was of great interest not only in our country, but also all over the world.
The aim of this seminar-discussion was to reflect on the movement through systematic analysis. This reflection will contribute to the development of political thinking and culture in our country.
