Following the conviction that art can be experiential, done outside the studio, and presented outside of museums and galleries, an artist Teresa Leung creates works by responding to urban situations and changes.
Most of her recent works reflect her interest in space of urban non-places such as harbor front and highways, its possible functions, and people's interaction with it.
In addition, involving people as equal collaborators in participatory projects allows her to demonstrate that art is an experience rather than just objects.
She would love to share with audiences in Yerevan her art process and works as well as how her experiences in the highly urbanized city Hong Kong (her hometown) impact her art-making.

Teresa Leung graduated from the MA in Fine Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011.
Born and living in Hong Kong, Teresa Leung exhibited her works previously in Berlin, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo, Slovenia, Spain, and the UK.
Teresa Leung is a current residency artist at the ‘Art Commune’ International Artist-in-Residence Program. She will spend three months from mid-May to mid-August in Yerevan to explore urban transformations in Yerevan.
