The exhibition that Artlab ran presents the environment of widespread vote buying (usually 5000 AMD (armenian currency)) on the eve of 2012 parliamentary elections in Armenia.Armenian famous poet Tumayna’s picture is in the banknote of 5000 AMD that is why the venue of the exhibition was chosen the writer’s museum.

At the exhibition the exponents from the museum have been used together with series of video-arts, items of vote buying process, interviews.Some of the exponents were food and other items widely used for vote buying on Election Day.

The aim of the exhibition was to highlight the widespread corruption and demoralization.Art-Laboratory prefers facts to inventive illusion. Here is the table taken from Ludwig Khachatryan’s “Electoral Right and Election Frauds”book. (Yerevan, 2010).
